Mujahid Farooq had the opportunity to speak at Skills Gala 2024, held at PC Hotel Lahore, where he discussed the importance of community building and its role in creating opportunities for learning, collaboration, and professional growth.
During the session, Mujahid highlighted how strong communities can help individuals move beyond learning skills in isolation. Communities provide spaces where people can connect with like-minded individuals, share knowledge, find opportunities, collaborate on ideas, and learn from each other's experiences.
The Power of Community
For freelancers, students, entrepreneurs, and technology professionals, having the right community can play an important role in career development. A supportive community can provide mentorship, networking opportunities, collaboration, and access to information that may otherwise be difficult to find individually.
Mujahid also shared perspectives from his experience of working with technology and freelancing communities, emphasizing that community building is not simply about gathering people together—it is about creating meaningful connections and an environment where members can grow together.
Speaking at Skills Gala 2024 was another opportunity for Mujahid Farooq to contribute to conversations around youth development, freelancing, entrepreneurship, technology, and professional growth.
The event brought together people from different backgrounds and created an environment for learning, networking, and sharing ideas around the future of skills and opportunities in Pakistan.
